Tysonn Betts is a Design Leader with professional experience, including 15+ years with Procter & Gamble. A diverse range of work including developing and delivering global design strategies and execution on billion dollar brands. Peter Block, Board Past-President
Peter Block is an author, consultant, and citizen of Cincinnati, Ohio. His work is about empowerment, stewardship, chosen accountability, and the reconciliation of community. He is the author of several best selling books, the most widely known being Flawless Consulting: A Guide to Getting Your Expertise Used; Stewardship: Choosing Service Over Self-Interest and The Empowered Manager: Positive Political Skills at Work. His latest book is Community: The Structure of Belonging. Peter is the recipient of the Organization Development Network’s 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2004 he received their first place Members’ Choice Award, which recognized Flawless Consulting as the most influential book for OD practitioners over the past 40 years.Peter is a partner in Designed Learning (www.designedlearning.com), a training company that offers workshops designed by Peter to build the skills outlined in his books. With other volunteers in Cincinnati, Peter began A Small Group (www.asmallgroup.net), whose work is to create a new community narrative and to bring his work on civic engagement into being. He is active with Cincinnati Public Radio and Elementz, a Hip Hop urban youth center.
He supports Elementz because it values the gifts and talents of young people which is what is most needed. They do not need to be fixed or changed. It is welcoming place that accepts people where they are. Elementz is a place where youth can discover the possibility that they are and understand that we as a community need them.
Thomas J. Lottman (Secretary) is the Deputy Executive Director of Children, Inc. and directs its Research to Practice Impact Area. This agency provides high quality early education and school-age services to over 2,000 children daily. He is also the Research Director for Growing Sound an affiliate that produces research-based musical products that promote social and emotional development. Prior to Children, Inc., he was with the University Affiliated Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and he has been a full-time faculty member at Loyola University in Chicago and at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He also directed a Children’s Mental Health Center in Canada. His special interests include social and emotional development in young children.

Joe Lubrecht (Treasurer)
Joe Lubrecht is a Vice-President and the Manager of Business Process and Controls for Commercial
Banking at Fifth Third Bank. Each business line (Commercial, Consumer, Payments, etc.) of the bank has its own BP&C manager responsible for developing and maintaining many of the artifacts related to Risk Management for that business line. Joe has more than 28 years in banking and joined Fifth Third Bank after graduating from college in 1987. Since that time, he has held several leadership positions in IT and Service Management including IT Operations, software quality assurance, and continuous improvement. In 2009 Joe rejoined the bank after seven years with National City Bank in Cleveland, Ohio, where he trained and worked as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Joe received his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the Whitney M. Young College of Leadership Studies at Kentucky State University. In addition to his corporate life, he devotes time for local not-for- profits – Elementz where he serves as a board member and Treasurer; and United Way of Greater Cincinnati where he chairs the Analytics and Technology Services Committee.
