Quotez the Ariez

Quotez the Ariez also known as Henry Knight IV was born in Ohio. Quotez was introduced to the world at an early age, listening to the greats of r&b such as Maxwell, Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat, and more. “ I use to always listen to these cats when I was on the phone with a girl, but I never thought that one day I would be trying to grow into their shoes. I just knew it made the talks a lot smoother with the ladies lol,” says Quotez. It wasn’t until the fall of 2008 that Quotez began pursuing his music career as a hip hop artist and aspiring songwriter. Initially, starting in the gospel and conscious art forms of hip-hop, the young “ariez,” since then, has expanded in his range of music into now forming his own style of hip hop called “i-soule”.  Since his journey began, Quotez has formed a band, appeared on local radio stations, and has performed alongside underground hard hitters. Recently, Quotez performed at the 20th Century Theatre, sharing the stage with Piakhon, ill Poetic, Wonder Brown, Animal Crackers, Moxy Monster, Buggs Tha Rocka. Being the most anticipated performance of the night, the young ariez earned the title of “highlighted performance of the night and main attraction. Quotez states that he still has a lot of growing to do being so young in the game, “but will never fall short of being the rookie of the year.” He also stated that as he continued to grow so would his influence of positivity on his listeners. Upon discussing the realese of his EP “Rookie of the Year,” Quotez states that “I just want to remind people that there is more to life and music than just violence, money, and negativity alone. The world is live in is far more real than that.”  Showing rapid growth in skill and knowledge of music, Quotez is headed to the top of the ranks with a bright future ahead.
