On Sunday June 30th Elementz presents an evening of classic and respectful Hip Hop at Washington Park (1230 Elm St.), featuring the hottest hip hop dance crew in Cincinnati: Studio Kre8v and live R&B by the Queen City Band.  The show will also feature feature Hip Hop and  Spoken Word artists from Elementz, along with Elementz DJ’s to keep the evening live.  An event that will entertain the entire family, including a chance to learn a few moves of your own.

Elementz is now accepting request for Dance workshops for the remainder of 2013 and 2014 for schools and other organizations. Check out this video to learn more about our Hip Hop dance workshops.

Elementz presents its signature monthly urban arts showcase, Staged On Central & Race. On Friday July 5th at 7PM The Beat Lounge ltd presents its premier beat battle event for the 1st time at Elementz! Some of Cincinnatis most talented music producers will compete in head to head competition! Challenging each other beat for beat, these producers will present their compositions to an audience of music lovers and a panel of carefully picked judges! The stage is set with a house DJ, and a group of eager music producers with a thirst for competition! Get ready to rumble from the vibrations of urban beats!

Tafari, Phresh Kyd the Queen city Band and other Hip hop and R&B artists of Elementz STARS program are set to perform alongside renowned jazz artists in “Celebration of Black Music.”  The celebration will feature a variety R&B and Jazz performances on Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th at the Kingsgate Marriott Hotel (1st Goodman Drive).  See Elementz perform as an opening act on Friday and Saturday for free at 7:00 PM.  Tickets are $50 to see headline artist Norman Brown, Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun, Najee & Alex Bugnon.

Our talented dancers of Studio Kre8v recently performed in the final round of “Cincinnati’s Best Dance Crew” competition.  A full audience of SK fans went to great lengths to support by wearing custom-made tee shirts, and carrying air horns and noisemakers.  Studio Kre8v pulled out all stops for this show which featured members of all of their dance groups as well as special guests Julius Jenkins from The Millenium Robots and Byron Carter.   In response to the performance SK Dance Director, Kasib Hasan, said ”The final round of Cincinnati’s Best Dance Crew 2013 will go down in history as one of Studio Kre8v’s best, most memorable performances.”
