On Sunday January 15th, Elementz: The Hip Hop Youth Arts Center & the Jewish community of Temple Shalom officially became neighbors! The theme of event was “injustice” and “loving your neighbor,” a fitting theme just before the birthdate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. Elementz instructors taught arts classes based upon these themes to youth and adult members of Temple Shalom.  Fox 19 news covered the story in a short article which can be read here.

On September 8th Elementz and Core Change came together to produce a workshop & showcase at The National Underground Freedom Center called Creative Cincinnati. Proceeds from the event came back to benefit Elementz programs. Check out this article featured on Axiom News about Creative Cincinnati.
