March 21, Elementz celebrated it 8th Year Anniversary with an Open House. A diverse crowd of over 200 people attended as members of all of Elementz programs had an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents that they’ve learned here at the center. Alumni and founders of Elementz also graced the stage and expressed the positive growth the center has had over the years. The event also brought in a number of new youth to Elementz arts programs.

Local 12 News Reporter, Angela Ingram, recently produced a remarkable video about the positive work that  Elementz is doing in the inner city.  The video features performances taken during Elementz 8 year Anniversary Open House as well as interviews with Elementz artists Tafari McDade, Courtney Wilkinson and Creative Director Abdullah Powell.

Join Elementz July 27th as we make our mark on the “Final Friday” scene with the return of Elementz Showcase! We will have performances from the S.T.A.R.S. artists and house band! Studio Kre8v will also be taking the stage with DJ Trentity on the ones and twos! And for the first time in Elementz history, Nitty Morris will be hosting this monumental event! This event is sponsored by PNC Bank and Artswave! Pizza will be provided by Papa John’s! The showcase will begin at 6pm. ALL ages are welcome. Admission is $3 RSVP now!
